GRAEME Kime will throw the first softball pitch of the Pan Pacific Masters Games on the Gold Coast on Friday morning at Pizzey Park after overcoming his latest curveball.

Kime suffered a stroke while playing in the gold medal play-off match – forcing him into retirement from the sport.
